LI Shuang

Li Shuang (b.1957, Beijing) was the only female artist among the founding members of the Stars Art Group (1979-1983), an assembly of untrained, experimental artists who challenged the strict tenets of Chinese politics in early 1980s. Li left China in 1984 and resides in Paris since then to pursue her art career. Her works has been exhibited in galleries worldwide, including Paris, Amsterdam, New York, San Francisco, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing, and her works have been sold at auctions by Sotheby’s and Christie’s.

ZENG Chuanxing

Zeng Chuanxing (b.1974) is born in Longchang County, Sichuan province, a minority region of China. After graduating from Central University for Nationalities in 1998 with a focus in oil painting, Zeng continued developing his artistic aesthetic based on classical realism. His most celebrated series, Paper Brides, embodies the main ideals of the artist’s work. Zeng currently teaches painting in the Fine Arts Department at the Hunan University of Arts and Sciences. His work has been exhibited at the Beijing Yan-Huant Art Museum, the Hunan Museum in Changsha and the Guangdong Art Museum in Guangzhou in China.

Liang Li Qiang currently works as a professional artist at the Shanxi Painting Academy. He is Director of Shanxi Provincial Artists’ Association and a member of the China National Fine Art Association. Since graduating in 1986, many of his paintings have been shown at national and provincial exhibitions throughout China. He has also exhibited in the USA, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong, winning numerous awards.
